For all made-to-order or custom projects, a 30% non-refundable deposit is required at time of order. Another 30% is due when the quilt top is finished (before quilting.) The balance is due at the time of delivery.

Please order custom quilts 8-12 weeks in advance. This is the average time it takes to finish a quilt depending on the size.

Process

1. Initial Meeting

After letting me know you are interested in working on a commission, we’ll have an initial meeting; it can be a virtual meeting or by phone. During that meeting I will gather all the specifics of the art you are interested in. 

2 Estimate

I’ll prepare an estimate that will include costs, payment schedule, and deadlines.

3 Deposit

After we both agree on the terms, a 30% non-refundable deposit is due before any designing is started.

4 Design

I create a design according to your specifications. I will present design concepts and colors to get your approval.

5 Construction

The construction will start after we both agree on a final design. I can send you photos of the process as I work on your quilt.

6 Second Payment and Quilting

Once the quilt top is finished, I will send you a photo, and another 30% payment is due before any quilting is done. Quilting is the stitches that hold the quilt top, batting, and backing together.

7 Delivery

After quilting, I will do all the finishing touches and deliver (DMV area) or ship your quilt. Final payment is due at delivery or before shipping.
